University Professors Ali Amad, Fabien D’Hondt, and Mohamed Daoudi will give a lecture entitled “Anatomy of the Face: A Journey into Depression”, also at the Cave des Célestines.
Here is the abstract: The face lies at the heart of how we express our emotions. This lecture will explore how emotions take shape in our facial features, how depression can alter their dynamics, and how new technologies now make it possible to analyse these transformations in a fine-grained and objective way. Bringing together neuroscience, psychiatry, and artificial intelligence, this event will offer new insights into what the face can reveal about our inner state.
